Salik is a toll road in Dubai that is automatically charged when you pass through a toll road. All cars are available for UAE residents with a valid UAE driving license older than six months. Using a driving license from another country while holding an UAE ID is prohibited by UAE law.

Paddock Rent a Car requires a refundable security deposit, mainly for traffic tickets, damage to the car (if not covered by insurance) and car theft. The amount is held for up to 30 days, as traffic fines are sometimes delayed. We also offer the option to rent a car without a deposit if you have a credit card and purchase Premium Protection on the car. Buying Premium Protection does not remove the driver’s liability for fines received. You will have to pay off the debt for the fines in any convenient way.
