One can argue about many subjects, but one thing remains indisputable, and that is the fact that Lamborghini is one of the world’s most admired and demanded luxury cars on the whole planet.
Dear friends, today would like to share a motivating story of the origin of that particular most beloved luxury sports car will the well-recognized thaurus.
Ferruccio Lamborghini showed a lot of interest in cars and mechanics in general as he was growing up. His passion led to the fact that after participating in the Second World War, he collected the old military equipment he found and converted it into agricultural products such as tractors.
He launched his own business that brought him a fortune. Having the resources and he acquired several luxury cars, including the famous Ferrari. Lamborghini admired cars. After some time he started racing in the cars he had owned. He quickly recognized flaws in these cars, since he gained enough experience in mechanical engineering. After racing with his Ferrari, he noticed a few imperfections that Ferrari had. Among others he pointed out the fact that Ferrari made too much noise while riding. Another problem with the vehicle was its internal clutch that was prone to frequent breakdowns.
Not to forget that in the 60s Enzo Ferrari cars were first-class luxury sports cars. Lamborghini felt the need to tell Enzo about the flaws he found in his car. However, Enzo did not accept criticism of the young tractor manufacturer, believing that he did not posses enough knowledge about his cars to judge their quality and even more so shortcomings.
This refusal marked the beginning of an ongoing competition between Lamborghini and Ferrari. Only then did the young entrepreneur realize that he had carried within him a real passion for sports cars.
Lamborghini stared working on his project in 1962, and in May 1963 he already founded “Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini”. He even bought a piece of land to build a new firm for his automobile business. His factory became so functional and successful that it was second to none. Lamborghini preferred to personally work with cars when he saw flaws or that something was being done wrong.
Ferruccio Lamborghini chose only the best parts for his cars, being an inveterate mechanic who was driven by the desire to prove a point. He chose an engine from Giotto Bizzarrini, who actually developed some of the latest Ferrari engines at the time.
After months of hard work, the company introduced the 350 GT in Turin, Italy for the first time. Since then, Lamborghini has won the hearts of the biggest car enthusiasts and remains one of the most sought-after and powerful sports cars to this day.
