Renting a car at Dubai International Airport is easy with Paddock Rent A Car. Contact a manager, choose a car and on arrival a car will be waiting for you in the parking lot outside your terminal. It is free from 9am to 9am daily, but for late or early deliveries we charge a small service fee outside of business hours.

Mileage limit is the number of kilometers you can drive a rented car for free. The mileage limit (200 km, 300 km or so) is included in the rental price and varies depending on the class of the car. An extra kilometer costs from 5 to 20 AED also depending on the class of the car. Often we also hold promotions for our customers and announce unlimited mileage for most cars. The cost of renting a car per month in our company starts from AED 2000 per month.

Car rental contracts are similar in many companies, but it would be a good idea for you to read all the points of the contract to avoid any misunderstandings.

Here are some points that may be critical:

• check the car brand, make, color, plate number
• rental dates
• daily mileage limit and cost for extra 1 km
• check the odometer and fuel tank in the car and in the contract
• read the fines from the company (smoking in the car, drifting, off-road driving, etc.)

• look at the deposit refund policy (number of days of retention and transfer fee)
• be sure to check that the money paid for the car, as well as the deposit, are filled in the contract

In Paddock Rent a Car you can specify a second driver for free, however, when booking a car, you must provide a driver’s license and passport of the second driver.

We provide a 2 hour grace period. Any further extension will incur an additional daily fee.

Most roads in Dubai have a maximum speed limit of 110 to 120 km/h, with a little leeway of 20 km/h. But remember, speed limits can change depending on where you are in the city. So, keep an eye out for signs and stay within the limits to avoid overspeeding fines.

• Driving through a red light – 1000 AED ($272) and impound (confiscation of the vehicle) for 30 days ($817).

PLEASE NOTE! THERE ARE NO ERRORS WHEN SPEEDING ON THE ROADS OF ABU DHABI. IF THE SPEED LIMIT IS 100 km/h, THEN THE FINE WILL BE FOR DRIVING 101 km/h.

Yes, as per the Road & Transport Authority(RTA) Dubai, all rental cars in Dubai comes with basic insurance. This insurance covers the damages which are not caused by your fault. Also, you can choose for upgraded insurance by paying extra as it will cover the damages which are caused by your fault.

In most cases, yes. Get in touch with a rental company representative at least 24 hours before the end of your contract. If the vehicle isn’t booked by another client, you should be able to keep it.

Driving is on the right side of the road in Dubai.

It is required that all occupants of a moving vehicle wear seat belts.

Keep a safe distance.

Observe traffic rules.

Children under 12 years old cannot ride in the front row.

Do not make noise in crowded places, near pedestrian roads and heavy buildings.

Video recording on the road is prohibited in the UAE.
